April 13-15Triangle Startup Weekend at NCSU Centennial Campus, College of Engineering Building II, 890 Oval Drive, Raleigh. This event is where our community’s visionaries, artists, technologists and business mavens come together to create whole new startups over the course of one 54-hour event. Entrepreneurs pitch new business ideas on Friday, then teams work on the best 15 ideas; on Sunday, working prototypes of the new startups – usually web or mobile applications – are presented to a panel of venture capital, technology and entrepreneurship experts.
