March 2 – Triangle AMA Tech Marketing SIG. At Syncfusion in Morrisville. 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. Discuss B2B marketing in the high-tech industry. First Wednesday of each month. AMA members only.
March 3 – Meet the New Media – Panelists include David Crabtree (WRAL), Chris Baysden (TBJ) and Phil Zachary (Curtis Media). 3801 Wake Forest Road Raleigh. 10:00 – noon. Fee charged. Registration required.
March 8 – Enterprise Social Media Strategy: Successful Strategies for Companies Small & Large. The speaker is Dave Thomas, executive director at New Marketing Labs. Noon for networking and lunch. March 8 – Web 101. Web Design for Everyone. AIGA. This is a FREE information session. Classes start in April. Eight experts will lead over 36 hours of workshops covering the basics of functional, well-designed websites. Registration required. Web 101 will meet once a month for one year. March 10 – Rethinking PowerPoint: Designing & Presenting Effectively. Ron Galloway, the director of the film “Rethinking PowerPoint,” will present a half-day course illustrating techniques for designing slides to make information stick. 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Embassy Suites – Research Triangle, 4700 Creedmoor Road in Raleigh.

March 17 – Triangle AMA Annual CMO Panel – Most Popular Luncheon of the Year.
