March 4 AIGA Raleigh presents an Evening with James Edmondson: Fonts are Forever, 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Hey Monkey Design + Print, 105 Hood Street Unit #1, Durham. Don’t miss the chance to hear from freelance lettering artist and type designer James Edmondson, creator of Mission Script and other fonts, was named among Print Magazine’s New Visual Artists in 2013. March 19 RTP 180: Sports! 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Frontier, 800 Park Offices Drive, Research Triangle Park. This March we’re talking sports and not just the ‘madness’ of college basketball. With plenty of local colleges and universities, we have enough college action to fill our weeks with sporting events. Not to mention the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes, who play at PNC Arena. Other sports flourish in the Triangle, including cricket and curling! Join us for the play-by-play.
