John Vavalle and Thomas Caranasos, who have brought new technology to UNC, TAVR, which allows for the replacement of the heart’s aortic valve without open-heart surgery; Dr. Elizabeth Craig, communications professor at NCSU, who will explain what your interpersonal habits really mean when it comes to your relationship; Maestro William Henry Curry, Durham Symphony, who will talk about the music and love; and Dr. M. Andrea Azcarate-Peril, a UNC professor who will talk about the bacteria exchanged in just one smooch.
