August 26 – SEO What You Need to Know Meetup: Google +, the Universe, & Everything (Google), 6:30 p.m. at McKimmon Conference and Training Center, 1101 Gorman St., Raleigh. Mark Traphagen from Stone Temple Consulting will talk about the maturing of Google’s social vision as G+ enters its fourth year. August 26 – AIGA Raleigh Series, Web 101: Web Design for Everyone, 6:30-9:00 p.m. at Capstrat, 1201 Edwards Mill Road, Raleigh. Web101 is a 6 month, bi-weekly course that teaches the principles of web design from conception to launch. Every other Tuesday at 6:30pm beginning August 26th we will be bringing in a Triangle area expert to talk about a different area of web design. In addition to the speakers, there will workshops towards the end of each class to ask questions and get assistance from local web gurus which will culminate in building your very own website from scratch!
