July 16 – North Carolina PRSA Professional Development Luncheon: Internal and External Branding, 11:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m. at Crabtree Tavern, 5300 Homewood Banks Drive, Raleigh. Join NCPRSA and Alice Grey Harrison, corporate communications director for accounting firm Dixon Hughes Goodman and explore the connection between internal and external communications in regards to branding. July 17 – RTP 180: Art in the Triangle, 5:00-7:30 p.m. at 12 Davis Drive, Research Triangle Park. This month’s RTP 180 is all about showcasing as many types of art as we can fit on stage, in our lobby and maybe even outside on a stage. From visual art to the more performance based kind, come with an open mind and be ready to rock. After the lightning talks, Jack the Radio will be playing, thanks to collaboration with Hopscotch. Sigma Xi is also bringing over light up bug-attracting-sculptures. And, our lovely friends at the North Carolina Museum of Art will be doing live art demonstrations. The show starts at 6:00.
